After Keith Flint’s shocking and unexpected death on March 4, 2019, Greek fans of the British band ‘”The Prodigy” remember the relationship the famous singer and his group had with Greece, according to greekreporter.com.
The British singer, musician and dancer was among one of the most popular artists of the decade of the ’90s.
His group ”The Prodigy” created some of the most iconic songs in electronic music during that decade, making them one of the most beloved and successful music groups in recent history.
”Firestarter” and ”Breathe” were only two of the many songs which which became instant hits when the group released them.
The Prodigy loved Greece, and the band came to the country to perform on several occasions in the past, as their Greek fans were numerous and appreciative.
The group published a five-minute-long video about Greece in 2011 in order to promote their upcoming performance that summer in the Greek capital of Athens.
Featuring scenes from the city, the Acropolis, their concerts and the ”Attiki Odos” highway, the group spoke about the nation of Greece and their Greek fans.
Flint and his bandmate Liam Howlett, referring to the Greek people, noted ”they are expressive people, aren’t they? They’re always up for a good time.” He added that they were always getting inspiration to compose new songs following their concerts in Greece.
