The South Aegean Region, in collaboration with the Dodecanese Tourism Offices Association, will co -organize a tourist conference that will be officially presenting the bilingual anniversary “The Dodecanese tourism in the period of the Great Crisis 2015 – 2023”.
The conference will analyze international and local crises, such as the rise of immigration since 2015, the great earthquake in Kos in 2017, the pandemic, the Russian -Ukrainian conflict, the great forest fire of Rhodes in 2023, crises that were very influential. The management of all these unprecedented situations is also reflected in the book to be presented during the conference, which will be a real document for an unprecedented period of Greek tourism and a valuable guide to the future.
In addition, the South Aegean Region with the “House of Europe in Rhodes” is planning to co-organize the 15th Rhodes Model Regional Co-Operation 2025 in Rhodes, from October 8 to 12 for the university edition and from October 30 to November 2nd for the Pediatrician with the aim of supporting and development.
The conference is aimed at teachers of all disciplines and students from the region and the rest of Europe, to internationalists, environmentalists, technology freelancers and throughout society.
The aim of the conference is to activate and train young and adults in the region to train and be actively involved in the peace and future of the region, the rest of Europe and the world. This action is considered to provide the region a diverse scientific experience and will be a useful aid for students, teachers of all levels of education, and throughout society, with the ultimate goal of promoting teaching and sciences in the region.
