The bridge over the Pineios River at Tempi, on the Old National Road, was closed on Monday for the next eight months – until the end of June 2020 – for works to reinforce the bridge, ANA reports.
According to the Thessaly Police Headquarters, vehicles are forbidden in the area around the bridge and traffic will be diverted onto other routes, through the Evangelismos junction, the Tempi junction and the Omoli – Perataria crossroads for cars heading to Katerini.
