The Turnover Value Index of Transport and Storage for the third quarter of 2020 reached 79.5 units (base year 2015=100.00), recording a decrease of 42.9% compared to the corresponding quarter of 2019, CNA reports.
According to the Statistical Service of the Republic of Cyprus, by economic activity, decreases relative to the third quarter of the previous year were observed in air transport by 89.0%, in water transport by 80.7%, inland transport by 43.3% and in warehousing and support activities for transportation by 33.0%, while a rise of 0.4% was recorded in postal and courier activities.
