The German ailrline of Lufthansa Group announced that it will include two Greek islands, Santorini and Corfu, in its summer schedule for 2016.
An airlink from Munich to Santorini and Corfu will be served once a week in order to facilitate the passengers increased demand for the Greek islands during the summer. Both flights are expected to operate in mid-May 2016.
The two itineraries
The initial flight to Santorini will take off from Munich airport on Saturday 14 May at 14:40 (Munich time) and will land on Santorini at 18:15 (Athens time) and will leave for Germany at 19:05.
The initial flight to Corfu will depart from Munich on Sunday 15 May at 06:45 (Munich time) and will arrive on Corfu at 09:45 (Athens time) and an hour later will leave for Germany.
The two itineraries will continue throughout the summer.
