A video posted on Reddit by user SlimJones123 shows toilet paper spread out down the aisle and within seconds after the flusher was pressed, it completely disappears.
It’s not clear when or where it was filmed but attracted peculiar comments posted on Reddit such as user’s ‘Reseal’ who asked: “What company are you using?! I wish my flights were that fun.”
The design of the toilet is so the vacuum sucks waste into a tank that is then stored until the plane arrives at its destination .
The vacuum toilet was invented in the 1970s by James Kemper and the idea has since been used in planes all over the world since it replaced liquid in toilets, which would add to the plane’s weight
