Ryanair reported passenger traffic growth by 28% to 7.4 million passengers in February 2016. The airline increased its load factor by 4% to 93% while annual traffic reached 104.6 million customers.
“These record monthly numbers and load factors are due to our lower fares, our stronger forward bookings and the continuing success of our “Always Getting Better” customer experience programme, which continues to deliver better than expected traffic and load factors,” said Kenny Jacobs, Chief Marketing Officer at Ryanair.
Also, the carrier plans to start seven new routes from Belfast International Airport from next autumn.
