The most dangerous airport in the world

The Lukla airport in Nepal may be the most dangerous in the world, according to leading travel magazine Conde Nast Traveller.

The runway is breathtaking as it is located on the edge of  cliff at 9,200 feet.

With each takeoff, passengers find themselves staring at the absolute void.

Moreover, the length of the corridor does not exceed 1,730 feet.

Aircraft pilots who are asked to land on the airport have received special certification, since they land without directions.

Tiny planes and turbulence are the least of your worries when landing in Lukla, Nepal, Conde Nast Traveler says and boasts “we did it and lived to tell the tale!
