Three Greek airlines, Aegean Airlines, Olympic Air and Ellinair have been included among Europe’s most punctual carriers for March 2016 by UK-based air travel intelligence firm OAG.
The Greek carriers occupied positions in the first 22 airlines graded for their punctuality according to the number of completed on-time flights.
Aegean Group carriers Olympic Air and Aegean Airlines ranked 21st and 22nd respectively.
Olympic attained 90 percent timely arrivals and 91.9 percent departures, and Aegean 89.9 percent on-time arrivals and 91.0 percent punctual departures outperforming major airlines with the exception of KLM which holds the 18th spot on the list.
Ellinair, a Mouzenidis Group company, ranked 8th suceeding in 95 percent timely arrivals and 75 percent on-schedule departures.
