Twelve weekly flights connecting Athens with the extreme southwestern coastal city of Kalamata are scheduled by Aegean Airlines’ subsidiary, Olympic Air, for the summer of 2017, a prospect that will further boost the entire Messinia prefecture’s attractiveness as a holiday destination.
Seven flights towards Kalamata will depart Athens at 10.40 a.m. (local time), while another five flights will depart Athens in the late afternoon, at 19.40.
The stepped up itinerary will begin on June 1, 2017 and continue through Sept. 30, 2017.
Additionally, this month will witness the a resumption of OA flights connecting Kalamata with the northern Greece city of Thessaloniki, three times a week during the off season and six times a week during the summer peak season.
