Rhodes island international airport "Diagoras" reopens after runway repair

Rhodes’ international airport “Diagoras” reopened for traffic on Thursday afternoon after repairs concluded to close a crack on the runway and all flights are running normally, it was announced.

Airport authorities closed the airport to all air traffic earlier this morning when the crack was detected. While it was closed, five incoming planes were directed to Kos island and one to Heraklion.
