Passenger traffic at the Athens airport reached 2.3 million passengers in September, recording a n increase of 7.8%.
The rise was due to the growth of both domestic (+ 4%) and foreign traffic (+9.8%).
Overall, in the January-September 2017 period , the airport’s traffic reached 16.8 million passengers , recording an increase of 8.1%.
This rise is mainly due to international traffic with showed an increase of 11.5%, while domestic traffic recorded a small increase of 1.9%.
