Passenger traffic in the 14 Greek airports operated by Fraport Greece rose 11.4 pct in September, totaling 4.2 million, the company said on Friday.
Domestic passenger traffic increased 5.9 pct compared with the same month in 2016, with the airports of Zakynthos, Mykonos, Cephallonia, Santorini, Kos and Samos recording double-digit growth rates.
International passenger traffic grew 12.6 pct in September, with the airports of Mytilene, Kos, Mykonos, Aktio, Samos, Santorini and Thessaloniki recording the biggest increase.
During the January-September period, passenger traffic in the 14 airports operated by Fraport Greece totaled 23.9 million, up 10.5 pct compared with the same period last year.
