Athens International Airport has been ranked second in AirHelp’s listing of the world’s top airports for 2018 based on quality of service, on-time performance, and claim processing.
Athens “Eleftherios Venizelos” Airport received a score of 9.3 for on-time performance, 8.6 for quality of service, 6.4 for claim processing and an overall 8.69. The Greek capital’s airport comes after Hamad International Airport in Doha, Qatar, who received an overall score of 8.77 and in third spot is Tokyo’s Haneda Airport with 8.63.
Established in 2013, AirHelp provides legal services to airline passengers who have experienced flight cancelation, delay or overbooking when traveling into or out of the EU, helping them claim their consumer rights and seek compensation.
