American Airlines has announced the long-awaited service between Athens International Airport & Chicago O’Hare International Airport.
The new seasonal daily service will be launched during summer 2019 and will run initially as from the beginning of May’19 till the end of September ‘19. The new flights will be carried out with the state-of-the-art Boeing 787-800 Dreamliner in a two class configuration offering 198 seats in the main cabin and 28 flat-bed seats in business. The new service is expected to offer about 67,000 new airline seats into the market. This will be the airline’s second connection with Athens, as it already operates the highly successful seasonal Philadelphia – Athens route.
