International air passenger arrivals at Greek airports totaled 418,552 in December 2018, up from 338,515 in the same month in 2017 for an increase of 23.6 pct, combined figures released by the Civil Aviation Authority and Fraport showed on Friday, offering encouraging evidence of an extended tourist season in the country, according to ANA.
International passenger arrivals in Thessaloniki airport totaled 130,277 in December, up 43 pct compared with December 2017, while arrivals in Athens rose 20.6 pct to 279,785 and those in Heraklion, Crete rose 26.7 pct in the same period.
