More Cypriot residents traveled abroad in September this year compared to the same month of 2018, data released by the Cyprus Statistical Service, on Thursday, show, according to cna.org.cy
In particular, on the basis of the results of the Passengers Survey, 132,409 residents of Cyprus returned from a trip abroad in September 2019 compared to 129,631 in September 2018, recording an increase of 2.1%.
In September 2019 there was a rise of 10% in the trips of residents to the United Kingdom. reaching 16,030 compared to 14,568 in September 2018.
At the same time, a drop of 2.1% was recorded in the trips to Greece, which reached 49,952 compared to 51,015 last year.
