Reuters: Air China cancels flights to Greece due to public safety concerns

An Air China official announced the airline will cancel all flights to Athens from February 17 to March 18, 2020, as a precaution to stem the coronavirus outbreak, reuters.com reports.

“The reason is public safety because of the coronavirus and there are operational reasons as well,” an officer at the airline’s Athens office noted.

Air China currently flies to Athens from Beijing thrice weekly on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday.
