Chania airport is fully ready to receive the first flights from abroad with safety and with protection of public health as the top priority, Deputy Civil Defence and Crises Management Minister Nikos Hardalias said on Saturday, after an on-site inspection, ANA reports.
The minister is currently carrying out a round of visits to the country’s 18 regional airports to check that health and safety protocols are in place ahead of Greece’s opening for foreign tourists and travel on July 1.
