Heraklion’s “Nikos Kazantzakis” international airport on Crete will be closed until 16:30 on Wednesday due to the bad weather on the island on Tuesday, which has caused damage and problems to infrastructure, ANA reports.
According to a Civil Aviation Authority announcement, the airport of Heraklion has shut temporarily from 12:30 until 16:30 on Wednesday in order to guarantee the smooth operation of the airport, as well as flight and passenger safety.
