Passenger traffic in Greek airports fell 59.7 pct in October totaling 2,278,650 passengers from 5,650,541 in the same month last year, Civil Aviation Authority said in a report on Wednesday. The number of flights totaled 24,928 in October, down 45.3 pct from October 2019 (45,552 flights). International passenger arrivals totaled 733,177 in the month, down 60.9 pct from 2019 (1,873,245).
During the 10-month period from January to October, passenger traffic totaled 18.9 million, down 68 pct from the same period in 2019 (59 million). Flights totaled 220,602 in the 10-month period, of which 106,346 were domestic and 114,256 international (down 45 pct from the same period last year).
