AEGEAN airways will operate twice-weekly flights between Athens and Eindhoven

AEGEAN is enriching its summer schedule with a new destination, Eindhoven Airport in the Netherlands so that it now serves more than 140 destinations in 44 countries, ANA reports.
As of June, AEGEAN will operate twice-weekly flights (Sunday and Thursday) from Athens to Eindhoven, increasing the destinations it serves in the Netherlands.
From 2016 until the present, AEGEAN had operated flights to and from the Dutch capital and Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport, with daily services throughout the year. The Eindhoven destination is originally scheduled for the summer but is expected to be continued in the winter as well.
According to aviation market analysts, the city of Eindhoven, like other smaller cities around it, has in recent years acquired a very active and large Greek community, mainly of students, but also young executives in companies within dynamic sectors of the Dutch economy.
It is noted that AEGEAN, this summer, will operate from eight bases in Greece (Athens, Thessaloniki, Heraklion, Rhodes, Kalamata, and Chania) and abroad (Paris, Larnaca), flying to more than 140 destinations in 44 countries, offering more than 11 million seats in the summer season.
