Hermes Airports head: Qatar Airways to transport 80,000 passengers to Cyprus in 2023

The presence of Qatar Airways in Cyprus is “very important”, as it connects the island with countries in Asia and the East, while in 2023 it is expected to transport to and from Cypriot airports around 80,000 passengers, Eleni Kaloyirou, Chief Executive Officer of Hermes Airports, said on Wednesday during an event at Larnaka Airport to celebrate the airline’s 25th anniversary, CNA reports.

Some 9.2 million passengers went through the Larnaca and Paphos airports last year, with traffic reaching 82% of the record-breaking 2019.
