The beginning of the tourism season for the island of Corfu was inaugurated on Sunday 26 March with an Easy Jet flight from Belfast that landed at Ioannis Kapodistrias airport at about 11:30, ANA reports,
Nine flights will follow starting from 15:00 from the UK, Italy, Poland, Slovakia, Spain, and Belgium.
The vice president of the General Pan-Hellenic Federation of Tourism Enterprises Vassilis Kaloudis said to Athens-Macedonian News Agency, that the season starts very dynamically and expressed his optimism that the increase will reach 10 percent compared with 2022.
