A contract for the procurement and installation of Voice Communication and Recording Systems (VCRS) in 18 Greek airports was inked on Wednesday by Infrastructure & Transport Minister Christos Staikouras, ANA reports.
The procurement also includes installation in the Electronic Applications and Major Maintenance Division, while the upgrade is overseen by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
New VCRSs are slated to be installed at the control towers of the following airports: Thessaloniki, Iraklion, Rhodes, Corfu, Kos, Alexandroupolis, Limnos, Sitia, Milos, Samos, Kavala, Kalamata, Ioannina, Chios, Skiathos, Aktion/Preveza, Karpathos, and Paros.
