Norse Atlantic: New direct seasonal connection Athens – Los Angeles

A new connection to Athens, from Los Angeles, has been announced by the Norwegian low-cost airline Norse Atlantic.

It is the first time that Athens is connected directly to Los Angeles.

The connection will begin on June 3, 2025, with a frequency of flights 4 times a week. The flights will be operated with a Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.

Norse Atlantic serves routes from Los Angeles airport to London, Paris, Rome, and, now, Athens.

The airline’s CEO and founder, Bj?rn Tore Larsen, said he expects a positive response to the new route to Athens, while according to the airline, the new direct route signals its commitment to offering new destinations in the US market, with affordable fare options.

Prices will start at 259 euros, with options ranging from economy to premium class.

Norse began direct flights between New York and Athens in June 2024, while in December last year, it moved the start of the same seasonal route for 2025 a month earlier than originally planned, namely on April 15, instead of May 15. According to the current planning, the connection this year will be operated, in the first phase, 3 times a week, and then, from May 21, 6 times a week.
