On April 9, the Municipality of Western Achaia has scheduled an event to welcome the first flight to Araxos Airport from the city of Lille, France.
Specifically, this action is taking place within the framework of events that aim to highlight the Municipality’s tourism product and increase tourist arrivals. In addition, the above initiative is part of the central strategic planning of the Municipality of Western Achaia for tourism development and international extroversion.
According to the Municipality, the new airline routes and partnerships that are being launched at Araxos Airport open new avenues for strengthening the tourist flow in the region. At the same time, they create new investments and partnerships in the hospitality sector, boosting the local economy and strengthening the competitiveness of the destination.
During the event, visitors will have the opportunity to get to know elements of the local tradition, gastronomy, and hospitality of the region. Traditional treats, local products, and cultural activities will give the impression of Western Achaia to visitors. At the same time, through the distribution of printed information material, travelers will be able to discover the interesting landmarks and unique experiences offered by the destination.
The event is expected to be attended by local bodies, tourism professionals, and airline representatives, highlighting the importance of the new air connection. The Municipality of Western Achaia estimates that this initiative will contribute to the promotion of the region and the strengthening of tourist traffic from France, which is a dynamically developing market for the Greek tourism industry.
This event marks a new era for the region’s tourism development, bringing Western Achaia closer to the international market and creating prospects for a more dynamic future in the tourism industry. Increased air connectivity facilitates the attraction of new visitors and strengthens the local economy, creating opportunities for development in many sectors.
