AEGEAN and Emirates are expanding their strategic partnership, offering mutual benefits to their passengers through the Miles+Bonus and Emirates Skywards loyalty programs. Starting today, May 5, Skywards members can collect and redeem miles on all AEGEAN and Olympic Air flights to 162 destinations in Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa. Accordingly, starting May 21, Miles+Bonus members gain access to more than 140 destinations in Emirates’ global network, across six continents.
The agreement was officially announced at the Arabian Travel Market international exhibition in Dubai, in the presence of top executives from both companies. Passengers also benefit from the existing codeshare agreement, which offers enhanced connectivity via Athens to 14 Greek cities, four European cities, and Dubai, as well as direct Emirates flights from Athens to Newark and Dubai.
As part of the enhanced rewards programs, Skywards members can earn up to 1.25 miles for every actual mile traveled with AEGEAN, while they can redeem miles for flights from 8,000 (economy) or 17,500 (business class). For their part, Miles+Bonus members can earn miles on all eligible Emirates flights, depending on the fare.
With more than 35 million members worldwide, Skywards was recently named the leading airline loyalty program at the World Travel Awards 2024. The new phase of the partnership strengthens the two companies’ global presence, offering travelers greater flexibility, more destinations, and rich benefits.
