Jet2.com and Jet2holidays are adding additional capacity to Kefalonia, announcing an extension of the summer season until October 31, 2026.
Specifically, a new weekly flight will be launched every Saturday from Manchester Airport from May 2 until the end of October, covering the autumn school holidays in the United Kingdom. Throughout the season, Kefalonia will be served with up to six flights per week from this airport.
There will also be connections to the Ionian island from eight other UK airports: Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, East Midlands, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Newcastle and Stansted.
Jet2 CEO Steve Heapy said:
“Kefalonia is an extremely popular holiday destination and we are seeing continued demand from both customers and travel agents looking to book both the peak season and the late summer. Thanks to this response, we are delighted to be extending the 2026 summer season until the end of October, offering travellers the flexibility they desire.”
