Athens airport passenger traffic reached 3.13 million in October 2025, up 4% compared to October 2024, thanks to the strengthening of international passenger traffic.
According to preliminary passenger traffic data for October at AIA, domestic demand fell by 1.6% compared to 2024 levels, while international passenger traffic continued its upward trend, exceeding 2024 levels by 6.3% and reaching 2.27 million.
Overall, during the first ten months of the year, the airport’s traffic reached 29.33 million, recording an increase of 6.4% compared to the levels of the first 10 months of 2024.
Passenger traffic, both domestic and international, increased by 1.8% and 8.3% respectively, with international traffic reaching 21 million.
