Emirates was voted “Best Airline in the World” for the 8th consecutive year at the prestigious ULTRAs travel awards held in Dubai on 17 November. Based on the votes of a global network of 1.2 million Ultratravel travellers, Emirates also won the “Airline with the Best Premium Economy Class” award, as well as the renowned “Contribution to Global Aviation Award”, which was presented to Sir Tim Clark.

Sir Tim Clark, President of Emirates Airline, said: “We are honoured to celebrate our eighth year as the Best Airline in the World at the ULTRAs awards, and we thank all the travellers who voted for us. At Emirates, we want every customer to ‘fly better’, and that is why we never stop investing in the overall Emirates experience, to deliver the best in international air travel. Whether it is the expansion of our network worldwide, upgrading our aircraft through a multi-billion-dollar retrofit programme, introducing new hospitality training for cabin crew, or deploying innovative technologies to facilitate seamless travel, we continue to raise our own standards every year.”
