The first months of 2025 are already “charting” an excellent tourism year for our country.
This is emphasized in a post by the Secretary General of the GNTO, Andreas Fiorentinos, on the occasion of the data of the Bank of Greece that record an increase of 12.7% in tourism revenue, in the first 5 months of 2025.
In fact, compared to the first 5 months of 2024, the arrivals of non-resident travelers increased by 2.1% while the receipts by 12.7% to 4.35 billion euros.
The Secretary General of the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) underlines that these figures confirm the significant contribution of Greek tourism to the economy and how the GNO has managed to convert the increase in visits into consistently increased revenues, by investing in quality tourism, a variety of destinations and international collaborations.
