Two Athenian bars were included in Drinks International’s list of ‘World 50 Best Bars’, protothema.gr reports.
Athens bars ‘The Clumsies’ and ‘Baba au Rum’ were the two picks in the the best 50 bars, with the former being chosen for a second year running (22nd) in the prestigious list.
‘It’s a fantastic feeling to be among the best bars in the world’, said Lefteris Georgopoulos, one the owners of the bar.
Thanos Prounarous, the owner of Baba au Rum included in the list was also excited about the distinction.
A formal announcement of the winners of this year’s top bars is expected to take place in London later this year, during an event in October.
