Several Greek food brands recently won honors during the annual Great Taste Awards, hosted by the London-based Guild of Fine Food organizatio , with Anassa Organics, Melitheon and Tresors de Greece earning distinction in a contest with more than 10,000 other brands from around the world.
Anassa’s Lemon Verbena hot drink, one of several organic plant and herb products, won a total of nine gold stars, as well as the title of Great Taste Producer for a third straight competition.
Melitheon, owned by the Kritsidimas family, which is based in the eastern Peloponnese, as well as the traditional Greek products by Tresors de Greece, run by the Thomadakis family, also picked up awards.
