A two-day event promoting Greek wine in Albania opened on Tueday at Tirana, courtesy of the Greek embassy, ANA reported.
Greek Ambassador Eleni Sourani noted in statements at the opening that the “Hellenic Symposium-Wine Tasting” event was also aimed at creating opportunities for B2B collaborations between the two countries.
Thirteen Greek wineries are taking part in this first-ever promotion of Greek wine in Albania, where Italian and French wine dominate the market.
The event belongs to the GR-EAT program, which introduces selected Greek food and drinks to foreign businesses and consumers abroad.
