Attica Region: Participation in exhibitions to promote agricultural products

The Attica Region has decided to participate in 17 food and beverage exhibitions in 2025 and 2026, with the aim of promoting and promoting the quality agricultural products of Attica both in Greece and abroad, as well as strengthening the extroversion of businesses involved in processing and manufacturing in the food sector.

Specifically, the Attica Region plans to participate in 9 actions to promote and promote the agri-food sector for 2025 and in 8 actions for 2026, with a total budget of 1,676,538 euros.

It is noted that, to date, 55 promotion actions have been implemented by the Region, in which 217 different exhibitors have participated in international exhibitions and 103 different exhibitors in exhibitions in Greece.

In detail, the exhibitions in which the Attica Region plans to participate in 2025 and 2026 are as follows:

11th EXPOTROF- The Greek Fine Food Exhibition, Paiania 1-3 February 2025. More than 300 Greek companies and professionals active in the primary production and trade of food and beverages participate in the exhibition.

WINE PARIS -VINEXPO, Paris, France, 10-12 February 2025 and February 2026. This is the largest event for the wine and alcoholic beverages sector in Paris and one of the largest in Europe.

FOOD EXPO, Metropolitan Expo Spata, 8-10 March 2025 and March 2026. This is an important trade forum for Food and Beverages both in Greece and in the wider region of Southeastern Europe.

ProWein, D?sseldorf, 16-18 March 2025 and March 2026. This is one of the leading exhibitions for wine and spirits in the world.

UK Food And Drink Shows- Food And Drink Expo, Birmingham, United Kingdom, 7-9 April 2025. The event includes 7 exhibitions covering the entire food supply chain in the United Kingdom. At least 1,700 exhibitors from 50 countries participate in it. It is noted that the total value of food, drink, and catering consumption in the United Kingdom is over 200 billion pounds.

Warsaw Food Expo, Warsaw, Poland, 20-22 May 2025. This is one of the most important exhibitions in the sector in Poland, a market with enormous potential, dedicated to the agri-food sector aiming to bring together leading companies and experts from Central and Eastern Europe.

ISM MIDDLE EAST, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, September 2025. ISM Middle East, formerly YUMMEX, is the most important exhibition for the promotion of Confectionery and Snacks and their entry into the emerging markets of the Arabian Gulf and North Africa.

ANUGA Cologne, Germany, 4-8 October 2025. Anuga is organized every two years and is the leading exhibition in the food and beverage sector because it brings together a huge number of exhibitors and trade visitors from all over the world.

Export Action in Sweden, Stockholm, November 2025. The Scandinavian market is of great interest to Attica businesses because over 50% of the food consumed in these countries is imported. Also, the Scandinavian countries consume the largest volume of organic and natural food.

GULFOOD Dubai, United Arab Emirates, February 2026. Gulfood is the largest annual food trade fair in the Middle East.

ALIMENTARIA Barcelona, ??Spain, March 23-26, 2026. The exhibition has been held every two years, since 1976, in one of the most modern and fashionable exhibition centers in Europe, the FIRA GRAN VIA in Barcelona, ??with a net exhibition area of ??120,000 sq m.

ATTICA OPEN FARM DAYS 2026, September and October 2026. Open Farm Days is an annual event organized by OPEN FARM and concerns open visitable farms and food production units of the Open Farm network.

SIAL 2026 Paris, France, October 2026. The global exhibition is organized every two years and brings together producers and buyers. According to the exhibition statistics, 70% of buyers visit it to find new products and suppliers.

Meat, Dairy, Frozen EXPO 2026, Spata, 7-9 November 2026. The combined professional exhibition Meat, Dairy, Frozen Expo is organized every two years and concerns the sectors of meat and its products, dairy and cheese farming, frozen foods, and cold supply chain.
