Loutraki, the first Culinary Capital of Greece

Loutraki was certified as the first city in Greece to obtain the honorary title of Culinary Capital by the internationally recognized organization World Food Travel Association.

This important distinction ranks Loutraki among the top culinary destinations in the world, confirming our ongoing commitment to preserving, highlighting, and promoting our authentic local gastronomic identity.

Famous for its thermal springs, its magnificent coastline, and its deep cultural wealth, Loutraki harmoniously combines tradition with modern culinary creativity. From fresh seafood from the Corinthian Gulf and handmade pasta, to traditional pastries and local specialties, Loutraki offers authentic taste experiences that
highlight Mediterranean culture and Greek hospitality.

Mr. Yiannis Kontis, President of the Loutraki Caterers Association “Xenios Zeus” and General Secretary of the Loutraki Tourist Organization (L.T.O.), stated:

The certification process was implemented with the support of the Loutraki Caterers Association “Xenios Zeus” and the Loutraki Tourist Organization, while the tourism marketing company Respond On Demand Ltd. undertook the editing and completion of the dossier.
