The 6th Festival of Promotion of Agricultural and Traditional Products is scheduled to take place from 18 to 22 July 2025 on the beach of Nea Makri, an area that combines natural beauty with cultural heritage. The festival, which will last every day from 19:00 to 24:00, aims to strengthen local development and support entrepreneurship in the area through the promotion of traditional products.
Among other things, the festival will highlight a multitude of products that represent the agricultural production of the area, such as wine, honey, oil, dairy products, vegetables, pasta, and many other traditional dishes. Visitors will have the opportunity to get to know and taste these products, while participating producers will also offer some of their products to support the Social Grocery Store of the Municipality of Marathon, in exchange for a financial fee.
The selection of participants will be based on the quality of the products and their relevance to the spirit of the event, which is to promote local tradition and strengthen community support. In addition, a Book Fair will also be held at the same location, making the festival an ideal destination for those who wish to combine rural culture with cultural knowledge.
The 6th Festival of Promotion of Rural and Traditional Products is a celebration that unites the local community and visitors through the love for traditional products and the promotion of sustainable development.
