Sardine Festival at Stomio Larissa

On July 26, at the Stomio of Larissa, the Sardelas Day is scheduled to take place, which is co -organized by the Municipality of Agia and the Region of Thessaly.

The Sardinas Day is the most important manifestation of the people of the fishing on the coastal front of the Municipality of Agia. The action concentrates people in the primary sector throughout the coastline and contributes significantly to product promotion, strengthening the value chain and supporting local income.

As part of the sardine celebration, cultural events will take place on the occupation of residents with fishing, while residents and visitors of the area will have the opportunity to enjoy roasted sardine, which will be offered throughout the event, as well as music events.

On the occasion of the sardine celebration, travelers can tour the area and explore its beauties, as the orifice is a tourist destination that combines the beauties of Kissavos Mountain and the enjoyment of marine activities.
