SKY Express: New winter connection Heraklion – Tirana

Sky Express is launching a new direct connection to Albania from Heraklion airport next winter.

The Greek carrier will operate the Heraklion – Tirana connection from October 23, 2025, with an ATR72 aircraft and with a frequency of 2 times a week, as follows… (the following schedule focuses on the period from October 28 to December 31, 2025)

SKY express recently announced the addition of 5 new European destinations to its network (Madrid, Lisbon, Hamburg, Berlin and Lyon), while further strengthening its aircraft fleet with the addition of a new Airbus A320neo, the company’s 11th aircraft of the same type and its 28th aircraft overall, as part of its consistent development strategy.

In addition, by the fall of 2025, another Airbus 320neo is expected to join the company, strengthening its fleet, which will now number 29 aircraft. SKY has the youngest fleet of aircraft in Greece, with an average age of just 4.5 years for the Airbusneo and 2.7 years for the ATR 72-600.

In 2024, the airline carried over 5 million passengers, expanded its international network with 7 new destinations (Istanbul, Tirana, Tbilisi, Yerevan, Prague, Vienna and Amsterdam) and acquired 6 new aircraft.

SKY express serves the largest network of Greek destinations, with 33 points throughout the country, while its international destinations, so far, amount to 26.
