The Attica Chefs Club “Acropolis” travels Greek traditional dishes to China

The Attica Chefs Club “Acropolis” with its President Konstantinos Mouzakis, continuing its action in the Diplomacy of Gastronomy, participates in the first Asian wedding reception competition that will take place from September 8 to 11.

Wedding receptions as a social institution of different cultures, embody the essence of food skills and wedding culture. This competition is officially certified by the World Association of Chefs’ Associations (WACS), which provides guidance on the rules of the competition, international delegation of referees and professional technical support.

Its goal is to review the skills of Asian wedding receptions with international standards and create a global platform for the exchange of catering culture.

The competition is jointly organized by the China Cuisine Association, Yunnan Cuisine Association, Yunnan Wedding Industry Association and dozens of industry associations and institutions in Asia and China.

It is not only a comprehensive review of Asian wedding banquet skills, but also a bridge to promote international cultural exchanges and cooperation, promote the integration of Asian wedding banquet culture with the global catering system, and enhance the professional recognition of Asian wedding banquets in the global catering industry.

Ms. Maria Zisouli, as an honorary member of the Attica Chefs Club “Acropolis”, participates in the organizing committee of the competition where she will present the traditional Greek dishes of the wedding table, the sweets and the products. She will also mention the customs and traditions of the Greek wedding tradition.
