In the context of the international tourism exhibition IFTM TOP RESA, an important meeting was held between the Minister of Tourism, Ms. Olga Kefalogianni, and the Director of Europe of Guide Michelin, Ms. Julianna Twiggs. The Minister was accompanied by the President of the Hellenic Tourism Organization (EOT), Ms. Angela Varela, while the Greek Ambassador to France, Mr. Antonis Alexandrides, was also present, with the meeting taking place at the Embassy of Greece in Paris.
Greece, as emphasized, has all the necessary quality characteristics to emerge as a gastronomic destination of high standards, with the aim of further strengthening the international image of the country.
The Ministry of Tourism and the Greek National Tourism Organization collaborate with specialized organizations and professionals in the sector, in order to effectively promote Greek gastronomy abroad, establishing Greece on the global map of top culinary experiences.
The meeting is part of a broader strategy of the Ministry to highlight gastronomy as a key pillar of tourism development, strengthening the connection of Greek tourism with culture, local production and the authenticity of the experience offered to the visitor.
