After the long lines for fried chicken, the Jackaroo team is venturing into a new “track” in Piraeus: Italian street food under the name La Jacka by Jackaroo. The concept builds on the idea of quick but carefully crafted food and aims to fill the gap between fast food and casual Italian dining.
La Jacka is located at 117 Karaiskaki Street in Piraeus. The project is led by founder/chef Michalis Mantzouranis, who has made a strong impact on the street food market with Jackaroo. The brands development continues, and it has frequently appeared in business news with expansion moves and collaborations.
In the same vein, alongside the main brand, satellite ventures such as Krispy by Jackaroo (delivery listing) have already emerged, showing that the team is now betting on multiple concepts rather than focusing on a single identity.
The menu of La Jacka is concise and clear, offering all the “essentials” for instant Italian comfort food in street food form, and is based on three main pillars: fresh pasta, Italian sandwiches with homemade fillings prepared daily, and handmade tiramisu made in the traditional way, with a Nutella variation also available.
The Choice of Piraeus
The fact that the new concept is located in Piraeus is no mere coincidence: this is the city where Jackaroo started before expanding across the metropolitan area. Today, the area has exactly what a street food model needs: foot traffic, a fast-paced rhythm, an audience that eats on the go, and a willingness to try something new.
