The Sustainable Greece 2020 Initiative appointed Aldemar Resorts Vice President Alexandros Angelopoulos as Sustainability Ambassador, for implementing sustainable development and responsible business policies.

The Group has eight 5* & 4* hotel complexes in three strategically important destinations: Crete (4), Rhodes (2) and Western Peloponnese (2), three ultramodern conference centres, two thalassotherapy/spa centres, and one agrotourism hostel.
By continuously investing in innovative products and ideas and demonstrating a high level of responsibility to man, society and the natural environment over 27 years of activity in the international and Greek markets, the Aldemar Group has gained distinction as one of the most high-powered presences in the hotel industry, with a bed capacity of 5,500 and a total number of 1,300 employees.

The Sustainable Greece 2020 Initiative is launched by the QualityNet Foundation in partnership with the leading business associations of Greece and aims to raise awareness among the local business community and society at large on issues of sustainable development, responsible entrepreneurship and social responsibility.
