Poseidonion Grand Hotel founding member of Master Key Society

The realization of an innovative idea, by creating a small fraternity of people with a passion for hospitality, the Master Key Society, was announced by Poseidonion Grand Hotel and World Boutique Hotel Awards founder , Edward Gabbai, during this year’s World Boutique Hotel Awards.

It all started during last year’s World Boutique Hotel Awards ceremony, held in London, where Poseidonion Grand Hotel received the honorary distinction of World’s Best Classic Boutique Hotel.

From the first discussions between the finalists of the event, it was realized that the people who had gathered there from every part of the world were not ordinary hotel business.

Travel experience goal

Everyone had to tell his own, very special excitement history of his place, vision and work, and all possessed a restless inner need to share their passion with every traveler from the rest of the world.

This internal identification and the need to share their love for their homeland led most of them to defy every difficulty and to create their own travel experience goal.

The creation of an inspired group, a fraternity of “liebhabers”, aiming to cultivate the overall improvement and development of the institution of hospitality, through fruitful dialogue and exchange of ideas around the expertise of Boutique Hotels seemed inevitable.

Inspired by Xenios Zeus

With the sense of hospitality deeply rooted in Greek DNA and inspired by Xenios Zeus, Poseidonion Grand Hotel invited those who were awarded that day to Greece, and specifically to Spetses, in order to conduct initial discussions and coordinate activities for disseminating honest, sincere and warm hospitality that overcomes borders.

Consequently, this year, Poseidonion Grand Hotel was elected to announce the creation of the Master Key Society along with the founder of World Boutique Hotel Awards, Edward Gabbai, and include in this newly founded community those who received awards this year in recognition for their work and creation.
