The restaurant owners of Rhodes expressed their opposition to all inclusive packages offered by the majority of the hotels on the island.
Therefore they propose the cooperation between restaurants and hoteliers that will provide tourists with special vouchers to eat in local restaurants.
As they said, the all inclusive model, inspired by the foreign tourist agents, is in full contrast with the economic interests of the local community and has serious effects on the local economy as hundreds of small and medium sized companies are struggling to survive.
