Lampsa confirms intention to buy Eurobank’s “King George” hotel

Lampsa confirms intention to buy Eurobank’s (EURBr.AT – EUROB GA) “King George” Athens hotel for 43 million euros.

Confirming earlier media reports, Lampsa announced yesterday that it has exercised its right to match the best bid submitted in the related tender and acquire Eurobank’s “King George” Athens hotel for 43 million euros: the deal is subject to approval by the bank’s board. Remember that management/operation of the “King George” hotel has been (since 2012) outsourced to Lampsa (the owner of the adjacent Grande Bretagne hotel in downtown Athens) for an annual payment of 0.7 million euros.
