Angsana Corfu marks the entrance of the internationally acclaimed hotel chain Banyan Tree Group in the Greek market in May 2019, according to its official website.
Angsana Corfu was transformed from the former San Stefano hotel in Benitses, Corfu island, into a luxurious 5-star unit by the KLC III Hellas company of the Kertsikof group, under whose control it was transferred 10 years ago by the Manesis family. The cost of the investment exceeded € 50 million. As the company has pointed out, the project will be among Greece’s most important tourism infrastructure, upgrading the tourist product and attracting high-income travelers.
Angsana Corfu is located 12km south from Corfu town, near the quaint village of Benitses.
