Twenty-six Greek hotels have been elected among the best in the world for 2018, in different categories of the “Loved by Guests” prizes awarded by the Hotels.com booking platform based on 25 million users’ reviews of their stay experience.
Altogether, 3,400 hotels from 91 countries were distinguished, distinguished by travelers as outstanding with a “Most Wanted Hotel” score of at least 9.4 (with a maximum of 10).
This category featured 17 Greek hotels, mainly from Athens (10 hotels) and Santorini.
The USA ranked first with 1,498 hotels in the category, followed by Italy (232), the UK (192), Canada (126) and Spain (101).
Cities where international travelers tend to stay more often in hotels that were distinguished as “Most Wanted” include Rome (39), Florence (38), London (36), Hanoi (36) and Venice (32).
