ATHENS – President of the Hellenic Republic Prokopios Pavlopoulos on Thursday presented the Grand Commander of the Order of Honour medal to shipping magnate Panagiotis Laskaridis for his overall contribution to Greece.
Among others, the president pointed out the work done by the Aikaterini Laskaridis Foundation in the arts, letters, history and naval tradition, as well as his contributions of the Greek Navy and coast guard, as well as Greek and European shipping, as head of the European ship owners union.
